'Camels in Lakshmana Temple, Khajuraho, India, circa 950-1050 A.D.' by K.J.S.Chatrath

This is perhaps the only place in the Khjuraho temples where camels have been depicted. Terry Feuerborn, in his post ‘Camel Carvings, Laksmana Temple, Khajuraho, India, 2010’ points out that ‘these camels seem to have horses heads and hooves. Perhaps the artist was not too familiar with camels?’  https://www.flickr.com/photos/travfotos/4475312456
