I visited the Dilwara Temple a few months back. It is
a group of five temples and is located in Mount Abu Nagar
of Sirohi district of Rajasthan.
In the temples of Dilwara, the ‘Vimal
Vaasahi Temple’ is the oldest dedicated to the first idol, which was
built in 1031 AD.

These temples were built between the
eleventh and thirteenth centuries.
This magnificent temple is dedicated

The ‘Lun Vaasahi Temple’, which is dedicated to the
twentieth tirthankar Neminath, is also very popular. This temple was
built in 1231 AD by two brothers named Vastuppal and Tejpal.
