'Gommateshvara, Karnataka, India' by K.J.S.Chatrath
This statue of Bahubali referred to as "Gommateshvara" was built by the Ganga dynasty minister and commander Chamundaraya. It is a 57 feet (17 m) monolith and is situated above a hill in Shravanabelagola, in the Hassan district of Karnataka state, India. It was built in the 10th century AD.
